Twitter and Friends

Twitter is a blend of  a chat client and a blog that becomes a nice social networking tool. It's a bit like having two phones. The one to your ear listens to people you've indicated you're following. You hear/read everything those people are writing. The phone to your mouth sends messages out to those who are following you. The two rarely are in sync, which is one of the fun parts of Twitter.
